St Peter's church is a beautiful Norman building with a remarkable XIIth century tympanum. Its cloister, rebuilt in the XVth century, after the One Hundred Year War, shelters in the Chapter Room a famous entombment, an almost perfect sculpture of the late XVth century. The village soars once again in the XVIth century with the building of the dean's chateau whose white façade built with stones from a local quarry, whose stone-crossed windows and carved dormer-windows are reflected in the quiet waters of the river Dordogne. Nowadays it houses the "Maison de la Dordogne Quercynoise" and its year-round exhibition on the region.
