Both the Romanesque-style "Saint Just Valcabrère" basilica, built during the 12th century from the architectural fragments of Roman buildings and the "Saint-Bertrand de Comminges" cathedral, famous for its stalls and its great Renaissance organ now receive the artists taking part in the "Festival du Comminges»
Built in 1550, the cathedral houses a historical organ: one of France's finest classical instruments. The instrument's restoration and the creation of an International music academy have punctuated the history of the festival which gives twenty concerts every year during July and August, some of which are held outside in Saint-Gaudens or Montréjeau.
